That’s a very nice place. Not to waste your time but… Do the owners currently use any land for a few cattle and horses? Or is it all fruit tree land? Could it partially be used for a few animals? Water near by for them? I keep feeling farm as much as I love cities and convenience. But I think how healthy lifestyle a farm could bring! I’m still figuring things out stage. Would it be unrealistic to hire help? I’m definitely incapable to do on my own. Maybe a farm is not for me. It would be so nice though.
Yes! This property is stunning. There is lots of land available for cattle or horses. Most are being used for crops. There are water pipes to every part of the property. So it would be perfect for water troughs for keeping animals. What is fantastic about Nicaragua is that labor is cheap. Everyone has caretakers and workers on staff to help out. It is common even to have a casita on the property for staff.

And yes I’d like to have casitas so that I can house staff that need because I think it’s more caring for both sides. And I know feeeling of “who wants to drive to home if far away” probably less desire on a farm tired at end of day. But the area also plays a role. I might find less help the further out and the more jungle. Which Nandiame to Granada screamed close to small town life and trendy cafes and shopping and social life needs so close! 😂 thanks for the reply!

Where is the closest grocery store or pulpería? Are the roads well maintained and accessible year round? Is there any public schools there? About 40 min to Léon I'm guessing? I'd love to know more about the area

Additional tip: Don't use a so-called Real Estate Agent in Nicaragua. There is no such animal. The title and certification does NOT exist in Nicaragua; real estate MLS, commissions, and the things US citizens are used used to in the US are not regulated or do not exist in any form under Nica law. That is, anyone can claim to be one without any training, certification or experience. More often, so-called RE agents are often simply business-savvy middlemen jacking up the price of your purchase. Anything online should be viewed with extreme suspicion. NEVER purchase Nica real estate from abroad or online - EVER. You only need a LAWYER to safely purchase real estate in Nicaragua. PERIOD! Do your due diligence.
